American boys proved superior in the field as the outplayed Indian young colts in front of home crowd, Josh Sargent, Chris Durkin, and Andrew Carleton scored each for visitors.
Indian boys went down 2-0 against the USA in the third match of the opening day of FIFA U17 World Cup played at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
American boys were dominant from the very start gave very little chance to the home team to think on build up attacking.
Visitors got the lead half an hour mark when Josh Sargent was brought down by Jitendra Singh inside the box resulting in a penalty and Sargent made no mistake to find the net
Before the end of first half, Indian winger Komal made a good run at the left flank before sending inside the danger area that is cleared by Chris Durkin.
The second half no difference either with American young colts keeping the ball possession and doubling the lead 52 minutes through Chris Durkin who received the ball after Indian backline failed to clear the ball from the right side corner kick whose shot on target get the deflection from Anwar Ali keeping Dheeraj unmoved.
Komal Thatal had the opportunity to reduce the lead in the 56th minute when Suresh´high ball beat USA defense to find Komal who tried to lob the ball over Justin but his touch was too heavy to keep the ball low.
Indian boys though made some good move was not enough to bring them back in the game. In the 82nd minute when Anwar Ali´s shot on Komal´s corner kick hit the crossbar much to the disappointment of the crowd present.
USA launched a counter-attack from the crossbar rebound and Andrew Carleton received in an open space just Dheeraj to beat on the way and made no mistake to roll the ball over the goal line beating Indian custodian and giving America 3-0 lead.
Indian crowed though cheered for young boys throughout the game but surely were disappointed with the final result.
