In Today´s GTA Chairman´s Gold Cup quater-final match between Kalighat MS FC and BSF Jalandhar, The Kolkata side came from 2 goals behind to secure 3-2 victory over BSF Jalandha in Extra time.
It was BSF Jhalandhar who got the first break through in 25 minutes through Avinash Thapa who was brought in to replace T Nangdemba Singh who received an injury in the 24th minute. Nilambar SA doubled the score for Jalandhar in 36 minutes.
Debayan Hazra managed to get back one for Kalighat MS just before Half-time. It was however Rathin Karmakar who got the equalizer for Kalighat MS to take the match further towards Extra-time.
Achinta Ghosh sealed the deal for Kalighat MS in the Extra -time to book themselves a berth in the Semis.
