As the deadline for finalizing player retention is coming close Indian Super League second edition champions retains Jeje and sign in Jerry Lalrinzuala, and Anirudh Thapa ....


The Abhishek Bachchan co-owned ISL franchise Chennaiyin FC retained star striker Jeje Lalpekhlua in a three years deal along with Karanjit Singh for two years.
 

The 26-year-old strike Mizoram striker has been with Chennaiyin FC since 2014 and has played a vital role years deal FC´s victorious campaign in 2015.
 

"We are very happy to have retained Jeje and Karanjit. Jeje has been with the club since its inception and has grown into a leader and of course become one of the finest players of the country. Ever since we have picked Karanjit in the 2015 ISL auction he has shown great commitment and consistency. The great thing is both are yet to reach their peak so we look forward to many more great seasons from the two,” said Chennaiyin FC co-owner Mrs Vita Dani. 
 
 
“Chennaiyin FC has been my home for three years now so I am delighted to extend my stay till 2020. Everybody at the club starting from owners, staff, and teammates and of course the fans have been very supportive. The club has a real family atmosphere and that has helped to get the best out of me and I know I can do even better. I am excited about the future and determined to win back the ISL trophy for Chennaiyin in the coming season,” Jeje commented. 
 

Chennaiyin FC also retains Karanjit Singh and have also decided to sign youngsters Jerry Lalrinzuala and Anirudh Thapa who was on loan to Minerva Punjab.
