Nakamuras hattrick for Japan in the 22nd, 23rd and 43 minutes helped Japan to secure a massive win over Honduras in their opening match of the U17 World Cup campaign. P Palacio scored the consolation goal for Honduras in the 36th minute. Kubo added the fourth one for Japan just before halftime. As the 2nd Half followed, Taisei Miyashiro scored the fifth goal for Japan before Toichi Suzuki added the sixth one to ensure all three points went to the Asian outfit.
In Another development, Mexico and Iraq both gave each other a tough time before settling for a 1-1 draw in their opening Group F match at the FIFA U-17 World Cup India. It was Iraq who took the lead first in the 16th minute through Mohammed Ridha who took it solo before piercing it past the keeper. Mexico later equalized in the 52nd minute through Roberto De La Rosa who made sure not to give away all three points to Iraq.
Japan registered a convincing 1-6 win over Honduras while Mexico and Iraq settel for a 1-1 draw after an entertaining match.
