Rajon Burmans last minute goal hand Calcutta Customs semifinal berth
In the second semifinal match of the ongoing 37th, All India Governor´s Gold Cup International Football Tournament 2017 held under Sikkim Sports Association Calcutta Customs secure a narrow 1-0 win over Nepalese club Manang Marsangdi played at Paljor Stadium on Monday afternoon.
The first half witnessed both sides creating move but failing to convert chance into goal ending the first half in a goalless draw. The second half was no difference either as both sides struggled for the goal.
When it looked the match will take the extra time to decide the winner Rajon Burma emerged as a villain for Nepalese side Manang Marsangdi Club who scored the winner in the 89th minute for Kolkata outfit.
Tibetan NSA will take on Mohun Bagan AC in the third quarter-final match on Wednesday.
In a closely contested second quarter-final match Calcutta Customs edged past Manang Marsangdi Club, Nepal, by a lone goal.
