Ramhlun North FC began phase 2 of MPL6 after a dismal phase 1 with much needed three points against last season´s finalists Bethlehem Vengthlang FC.
A solitary goal from Lalremruata proved to be the difference as Ramhlun North FC were able to hold on to their lead till the end.
Ramhlun North scored their goal in the 25th minute as Lalremruata finished a ball supplied by Ramdina after an opening period in which both teams canceled each other out.
Ramdina and Liberian striker Harry had sniffs of goal for Ramhlun North FC while Ramengmawia looked to pose a threat for BVTFC at the other end.
BVTFC, knowing they have a chance to leapfrog second-placed Chanmari FC changed their shape in the second half and posed a big threat for their opponents.
Joel forced an excellent save from Ramhlun North FC goalkeeper Sangpuia while Rammawia struck a sweet effort and PC Laldinpuia and Ramengmawia also came close.
Ramhlun North FC almost scored a second late on when Ramdina struck the post but the score remain unchanged for 90 minutes much to the delight of Ramhlun North FC.
RNFC´s wideman Lalrinfela was named a man of the match.
