Belgium coach made as many as nine changes from their previous group match while England made eight changes, both sides showed a willingness to try and win the game and top the group.
England was the more productive side in the first half and far more proactive in attack even if they didn´t create a bunch of chances. Belgium was blunt in attack and had no apparent interest in changing that fact.
The second half of the match was livelier and brought in the only goal of the game in the 51 minute for Belgium scored by Adnan Januzaj who received the ball from Youri Tielemans and curled in beyond England goalkeeper.
After the win, Belgium finished at the top with 9 points and will face Japan in the knockout round while England will take on Colombia.
