In an entertaining final match of the 6th Milan More Gold Cup United FC Darjeeling secured 3-2 win in over Royal FC in Sudden death. The regulation time ended in 1-1 draw and ending the penalty shoot out at 2-2.
Both the side took some time to settle and pick up the pace. As the game progressed either side grown aggressive and physical but struggle to find the goal in spite some good move.
It was in the injury minute of the first session Buddha Paul took advantage of the confusion between United FC goalkeeper and defender to tap the ball over the goal line and gave 1-0 lead to Royal Tigers at the break.
United FC came stronger in the second half and were desperately looking for the equalizer and successes in the 76th minute a wonderful goal from substitute Rajal Lepcha.
The game eventually headed for the tie breaker after both side failed score the winner. Royal FC was leading 2-0 after three shot each and were very much in the verge of winning the championship however Buddh Paul and Karan Ria both missed the penalty taking the game to sudden death.

Karan Rai of Royal FC took the award for Highest Scorer while United Brothers Kalimpong was awarded with Fair Play Trophy and SSB Ranidnga was adjudged as the most discipline team.
