Speaking to Media Collins said, “I got call from Westwood and I spoke to Josh about moving here. It was tough leaving my fiancee and 17 month old daughter but once i convinced my girlfriend, i said yes to gaffer (Westwood). I am settled and looking for the first game this weekend."
When asked about what made him sign for I-league club the midfielder replied, “I may not have agreed if the call was from some other clubs but Bengaluru is a successful team trying to stamp its mark in the I-league. The passion for the boy is right up there, similar to the kind I have experienced in the England."
"And the gaffer is very similar in the way Michael Appleton, Oxford United Manager, works, very professional and modern. It’s basically like going from an English Club to an English Club," added Collins.
