Indian Super League Guwahati franchise, NorthEast United FC, officially announced the signing of former Kerala Blaster defender, Nirmal Chettri, for the third edition of Indian Super League on Tuesday evening.
Goalie365 earlier revealed that versatile defender was in talk with John Abraham owned ISL franchise and was waiting for the medical report clearance.
Nirmal missed the 2nd edition of ILS and Hero I-League 2015-16 season due to knee injury during the practice session and was in complete rehabilitation programme.
Talking to Goalie365, 25years old National defender said, "I am happy and excited to take the field. I am fit and training now and my knees coping well. I am desperate get into the field and give my cent percent."
Highlanders also announced the signing of Rowllin Borges, Sumeet Passi, Subrata Pal and Shouvik Ghosh today for the upcoming edition of Indian Super League.
