Dribbling expert, Milan Lepcha, Started his career with his school team at Tashi Namgel Academy.
Later in 1996 Lepcha moved to Tata Football Academy to nurture his skill but being the only son of the family, Lepcha had to return home early as his parent did not allow him to stay away from home for long.
He then joined back TNA and started playing for Sikkim senior team. Lepcha featured in almost all the teams in Sikkim but he spent most of his time with Boys Club and Sikkim Police and won major trophies while playing with them.
In 2001 he went to Kolkata for higher education and to keep his love for football alive, joined Mohammedan Sporting Club in 2002 under coach Md. Habib and in 2003 he traded for United FC. Milan again had to give a pause to his love for the game due to academic pressure.
Milan returned back to home state Sikkim and was picked up for the State team and was a prominent member of the Stateside representing all major National level competition including Santosh Trophy for Sikkim.
Known for his dribbling skills Lepcha was picked up by newly formed United Sikkim FC In 2012 where he played for three years including USFC I-league debut.
An unfortunate talented midfielder, however, failed to make his mark in the national squad. Lepcha now is still associated with USFC as a player cum coach.
TNA Product, Milan Lepcha, continues to live his dream with United Sikkim....
