Chennaiyin FC is an Indian Super League football franchise in Chennai, Tamil Nadu that will begin play in October 2014 during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. This franchise was formed when the owners of the Bangalore franchise, Sun Group, opted out of the Inaugural edition of the Indian Super League.
